The Gerald Schwartz School Women in Business Society was started in 2010 to benefit the female business students attending StFX. The goals of the society are to provide an informal network for female business students with faculty, alumni, and businesswomen; to create a medium for interaction among mentors, tutors, and peers; to prepare students for work after graduation; and to improve general business skills among students. We host student-faculty mixers, speakers, info sessions, and fun events to enhance the business skills of students.
As the society is in the growing stage, we are very open to new members and ideas. We are not an exclusively female group and encourage the participation and membership of males to improve their business skills and show their support for women in business. .
