During the Advent Season, as the Church prepares for Christmas, Chaplaincy hosts an evening Advent liturgical celebration. Partnered with Campus Residences and X-Project, this seasonal gathering allows students, faculty and staff the opportunity to celebrate the approaching Christmas tidings before heading home for break.

As an expression of faith and good-will, StFX Houses and Residences are encouraged to purchase and donate gifts towards X-Project – a non-profit, student volunteer organization that helps children in local communities with school work through tutoring and academic motivation, and also engages youth in various social activities which encourage community interaction and leadership opportunities. These gifts are presented during the Mass.
