In the months of May and June 2011, the Imperial Oil Science Outreach Program was able to reach 4800 young people through 61 workshops offered to grades Primary to Twelve in both the Chignecto Regional and Strait Regional school boards. Summer Camps

The summer X-SCITEMENT series consists of chemistry and science camps as well as an “All Girls” science camp. Participants in our ‘Elements’, ‘Atoms’ and ‘Molecules’ camps will be exposed to “never been seen before demos!” as well as conduct hands-on experiments that will awe and inspire! More…

Outreach to Teachers

Sets of grade four and five kits have been created which cover all aspects of the Nova Scotia science curriculum and include equipment, resources and lesson plans. Workshops for teachers using these kits have been created. Workshops are also regularly held for Physics Teachers.
