Our Goals

• To stimulate an interest in science and arouse curiosity in youth
• To introduce youth to scientists and allow them to engage with them in discussion and activities
• To familiarize youth with science and scientists and lab ‘culture’ so that they see science and university as an interesting place to learn, discuss, and be challenged
• To present workshops with activities both as demonstrations and hands-on, to school classes, community groups and at museums
• To host visits from school classes and community groups
• To provide mentors for science fair projects
• To keep the price of all activities low enough (and to provide bursaries where requested) so that no one is excluded
