Co-operative Education Work Term and Integrated Learning
The academic component integrates professional development theory and academic knolwedge into practice, in employment that is related to students' degree programs. Students will be evaluated by the Co-operative Education Program staff, as well as their direct reporting managers. While on work terms, students will document their personal work term learning objectives, participate in Co-operative Education Program site visits and submit formal performance evaluations. Upon completion of the 12-16 months work term component of the program, students will participate in peer debriefings and panel presentations and will submit a final paper. Students will receive a final grade for COOP 405.
Reflective Essays are due the first day of classes for each term. Essays should be emailed to jsmacdon@stfx.ca
