Centre for Research on Economic and Social Policy (CRESP) - Cross-Departmental Research Centre for economic and social policy based at University of British Columbia.

National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) - This website contains economic research by the most influential economists today, and some public use datasets.
Panel Study of Income Dynamics (PSID) - This is a longitudinal survey of 8000 families since 1968. It now includes a Child Development Supplement Dataset (CDS).
Integrated Public Use Sample (IPUMS) - The main datasets available are decennial census data of the United States, IPUMS-USA. There is a new extension which includes census data of other nations, IPUMS-International. The dataset is maintained by Minnesota Population Center at The University of Minnesota.
Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) - Health Data from several developing nations may be obtained here.
Current Population Survey (CPS) - This is a monthly survey of about 50,000 households conducted by the Bureau of the Census for the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States.
National Longitudinal Survey (NLS) - There are several Longitudinal Surveys available here. Maintained by U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics.
