The StFX Faculty of Education has developed a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction program, with a focus on Physical Education for qualified in-service teachers in the Tri-County School Board. The StFX Master of Education programs aim to advance the instructional and leadership capabilities of participants to support the learning of all students. This program are grounded in two main purposes: 1) creating a space for cohort participants to better understand and further develop their scholarly and professional knowledge and capabilities as leaders, curriculum planners and Physical Education/Health teachers, and 2) to use this knowledge and capability to improve teaching for all learners. Courses will be presented either face-to-face, on-line, or in a combination of face-to-face and on-line on weekends and evenings, and in intensive summer school experiences.
