The Faculty of Education at StFX University is working with the African Canadian Services Division in the Nova Scotia Department of Education to offer a B. Ed. program for African Canadians in the areas of elementary and secondary education.

The program will be offered on weekends and evenings on a regular basis during the school year, with some practice teaching blocks in regular working hours. There will be some summer offerings as well.

This three year program is slated to commence in September 2010 and be completed by June 2013. Programming will be offered in a central location with some limited distance programming.
