Join StFX student leaders, the StFX Equity Office, and community partners (Naomi Society and the Women’s Centre) in a commemoration ceremony, featuring speakers from the community talking about why violence against women is still a relevant problem and how we can work towards its eradication.

Pulling from current news stories, join the Women’s Centre in an interactive analysis about violence against women and how a social culture that supports violence is still pervasive in our communities. The discussion will focus on our institutions of education and the violence that young women face in learning environments presently, in Canada and around the world.
