Facilities Management is responsible for managing the contract for snow removal and salting/sanding of all roadways on campus

All hard surfaces will be cleaned of snow in such a manner as to allow safe, orderly movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. This shall include plowing of all drifting snow due to high winds in accordance with the priority list
Salting shall begin after plowing or when hazardous conditions exist
During winter months two shifts are provided to cover snow removal requirements. Early shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm and evening shift from 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Manpower and schedules will be adjusted to address heavy snowfall conditions.
All pertinent snow removal equipment, salt and sand ready for service by the end of November of each year or earlier if weather dictates.
The set of stairs between the library and Nicholson which lead to Lane Hall will be the priority.
