Post Degree BScN

Students applying to the 24 month Post Degree BScN Program Option, at StFXU, must have an undergraduate university degree with a minimum 70 average in their final year of study (or be in the final year of a degree successfully completed at the time of admission to the Post Degree program). 

  • Introductory chemistry (6cr)
  • Basic cell biology (3cr)
  • Microbes in human biology (3cr)
  • Human anatomy and physiology (6cr)
  • Introductory psychology (6cr)
  • Developmental psychology (6cr)
  • Introduction to Nutrition (3 cr)
  • Applied Introductory Nutrition (3 cr)
  • Introductory Philosophy or Religious Studies (6 cr)

Admission documentation required:

  • certificate in Standard First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (HCP CPR)
  • recent Criminal Record Check from home community
  • Child Abuse Registry screen, from home province.
  • copy of Birth Certificate
  • evidence of receiving immunizations for health professionals, as recommended by Health Canada
  • WHMIS training
