A StFX Alumni Association, Student Career Centre and Co-operative Education Initiative
StFX Alumni Association, Student Career Centre, and Co-operative Education are excited to launch the “Social Side of Career Advancement.” In a fun and educational setting students will learn how to network, gain an understanding of the world of work, and learn formal dining procedures. These are all areas that as a new professional you will need to know if trying to meet new colleagues or going out to dinner with the boss.
Students can purchase tickets for this event from the STFX Student Career Centre room 178 or 194 Schwartz. Tickets cost: $40.00. Deadline to register is January 28, 2013. Payment is due when registering for the event. Tickets are non-refundable.

Students will have an opportunity to learn about wine production and gain a basic knowledge of food pairings.

Time: 6:30 pm arrival

Through this three-course meal, students will practice formal dining etiquette and networking skills.
