Immersion Service Learning applicants must provide 2 Reference Forms, one for each reference.   

One or both of your references must be either a Faculty member (current, retired, or on sabbatical), lab instructor, or professional staff member (this does not include students) from the StFX community.

For the second reference, other suitable referees include:

• Former/current employer,
• Former teachers or principals,
• Spiritual leaders, or
• Professional staff from a community organization where you volunteer(ed).

If this is your first year on campus, you may use a former teacher or principal as one of your references.

References can not be related to the applicant (family members), a student from StFX or any other university, or a friend.
