Each year, the Service Learning Student society organizes a number of single-day events in the local community. In the past, some of the events have included: an intergenerational Valentine’s Day party which brought together children from a daycare and seniors in a nursing home, a beach cleanup with local school children, a Shoes for Souls campaign, and various fundraisers.
