Nursing / Health Sciences

The Faculty of Education at St. Francis Xavier University, in collaboration with the School of Nursing has a developed a Master of Education in Curriculum with a Concentration in Nursing/Health Sciences for baccalaureate-prepared nurses and allied health professionals who are currently working within post-secondary institutions teaching nursing or health sciences students or within the health care sector as educators for nurses, health care workers, or patients. Courses will be presented in a combination of face-to-face, online, blended, and intensive summer compressed course format.  The 36-credit Master of Education program offers several options, including:

• a course-based option (twelve 3-credit courses)

• a project-based option (ten 3-credit courses plus a 6-credit project)

• a thesis-based option (eight 3-credit courses plus a 12 credit thesis)
