What should I do if I think I've been drugged?

If you wake up and have little or no memory of the night before, and you feel you have been drugged, it is important to get help. You should be examined by a physician to ensure you are physically healthy, and also be tested for drugs in your system. Because your knowledge of the events will be minimal or non-existent, it is important to be examined so that you are sure you are ok or the exam can include screening to determine whether or not you have been sexually assaulted. Being examined does not mean that you need to press charges, however we can involve the RCMP if you choose. Again, we will follow your wishes and provide you with the support you need, either on or off campus.
