The Bank of Canada has officially launched the 2017-2018 University Recruitment Campaign. We will be recruiting for:

Research Assistant, you will provide technical support to economists and analysts and perform other operational tasks, such as data collection, producing figures and charts, statistical analysis.

Economist/Analyst, you will conduct analysis relevant to the formulation and/or implementation of monetary policy and/or in Bank policy in the areas such as financial systems, funds management and currency. You will participate in research projects linked to your department’s field of specialization.

Qualifications
Research Assistant: We are looking for students working towards or that have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree between January 2016 and December 2018 in economics, finance, computer science, mathematics or statistics, commerce or business administration with a major in a related field, such as finance or with a specialization in economics or finance.

Economist/Analyst: We are looking for students working towards or that have graduated with a Master’s degree between January 2016 and December 2018 in economics, finance or a related subject such as: economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business administration (MBA)
