Community Engaged Scholar Award Spring Convocation 2017

This prize recognizes a student who has completed one or more service leaerning experiences and has demonstrated a personal commitment to community development. 

This year's recipient of the Prize for Excellence as a Community Engaged Scholar is Cassia Tremblay.

Cassia has been engaged in the community during her time at StFX.  Cassia participated with various groups on campus, X Mental Health Connection Society, X Project, Hike Antigonish Society, L'Arche Antigonish and St. Martha's Regional Hospital.

 
Community Based Research Award 2017

This prize is awarded annually to the best community-engaged research project presented at Student Research Day. 

This year's recipients are Emma van Reekum for her research project:  An Evaluation of Interpersonal Process Group Therapy for Canadian Veterans and RCMP Officers with PTSD.

Megan Thompson for her research project: Servant Leadership, Leadership Development and Organizational Value Alignmnet:  The Case of L'Arche Atlantic.
