Community Code of Conduct

St. Francis Xavier University is a distinct educational community of students, faculty and staff
involved in learning, teaching, research, and many other activities.

Students become members of this community upon admittance to an academic program and
assume the responsibilities to that program and the University.

All members of the University community have a responsibility to support an environment that is conducive to the personal and professional growth of all who study, work, and live within it.

In the broadest terms, all members of the St. Francis Xavier community are expected to:
Be honest
Have respect for self
Have respect for others; their wellbeing and their property
Have respect for the standards of the University and the laws of the Town of Antigonish, the
Province of Nova Scotia and the Country of Canada.
